If it seems that there isn't much here, that's because the vast majority of Linux Software is cross-platform.



Linux Mint is a Linux Distribution based on Debian and Ubuntu.  It is the second most popular version of Linux, behind Ubuntu.  I personally recommend Mint to anyone who has historically used Windows and wants to switch to a Free, Open Source, operating system.



dvd::rip is a DVD ripping program for Linux which has a relatively straight forward GUI and is easy to use.
